An analysis of all 20,413 HVAC contractor licenses published by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, as of August 16, 2026.
TDLR republishes its full licensee file daily. We loaded every HVAC contractor record and compared the expiration date on each against today's date. 1,341 licenses, 6.6% of the trade, have already lapsed.
