What this site is
TradeCheck is a free, informational mirror of public licensing records with the status arithmetic done for you. It is not a licensing authority, not a government service, and not affiliated with any state agency.
Accuracy
We reproduce state files as published and refresh daily, but we cannot guarantee that any record here is current at the moment you read it. A licensee may have renewed since the last file was published. The issuing board is always the authority. Every record page links directly to the state's own verification tool, and you should use it before making a hiring decision.
What a license does not prove
A current license means the state confirmed the holder met its competency requirements and kept the registration paid. It does not mean the holder carries liability insurance, that their work is warrantied, that they are bonded, or that previous customers were satisfied. Verify insurance and references separately.
No endorsement
Appearing on this site is not a recommendation. We do not rank, rate, review or endorse any contractor, and no one can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have their record altered or removed.
No professional advice
Nothing here is legal advice. If you have a dispute with a contractor, talk to a lawyer or file a complaint with the issuing board.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape this site at volume; the underlying data is published by the state and you should take it from the source. Do not use these records for harassment, or to build marketing lists targeting licensees.
